What’s Next for

BTCHN’ Bikes

For years, I built fully custom bikes—one at a time, tuned to the rider, with all the weird questions and back-and-forth that make that process special. It was a wild, rewarding ride, and I learned a lot from it.

But the shop’s headed in a new direction.

Moving On From Custom Frames

I’m no longer taking custom frame orders. Over the past year, I’ve been focused on building bars, seatposts, and other components—refining the way I work and laying the groundwork for a different kind of build.

Starting this year, I’m shifting to small-batch frames, all handmade in the USA. These won’t be one-off customs, but they’ll carry the same attention to detail, ride quality, and design decisions I used to make one frame at a time.

Why Small Batch?

Custom builds were great—but they’re slow, and the long waitlist didn’t feel right. With small batches, I get to:

  • Stay hands-on with design and quality

  • Make bikes faster, without compromising what makes them good

  • Focus on builds that are dialed in and fun as hell to ride

Same ethos, different process.

What to Expect

Frames will be released in small, limited runs—steel and titanium, designed by me and built by skilled hands here in the U.S. Geometry will be rider-tested, materials top-tier, and details dialed. Some batches will include full builds, others just framesets. If a part doesn’t exist yet, I’ll probably make it.

This isn’t mass production. It’s still just me, doing things the BTCHN’ way, one small batch at a time.
